PONY September 5 (Melbourne, Australia)

Punk rock at its purest. A small, packed club. Far too hot. Not enough light. No room on stage to move. No foldback for us to hear what was going on. Two rubber chickens. Amazing fun. Thanks to everyone who came along as well as our good mates User Friendly and One Inch Left who totally rocked the PONY... so to speak.... Sorry bout the image quality but as we said, there were no lights!

MELBOURNE UNIVERSITY October 21 (MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA)

A true Melbourne day! The morning was beautiful and sunny, but by the time we hit the outdoor stage it was pelting down with rain and blowing one heck of a gale.Of course that didn't stop Bubbie from taking a massive jump off the drums and landing smack into a microphone stand. And, of course, it was great fun to play back where we first started and thanks to everyone who braved the weather.

EARCANDY CUP DAY PUNK ROCK BBQ November 4

Now this was awesome fun! The first show with Timmmy and Other-Dave. Played in a backyard with a bunch of cool people watching and eating burnt sausages (go Francis!!). The sun shone down. The PA died. Water got thrown. The ground got muddy. And Dik from No idea did the best jump off the roof we've ever seen. Ever. Anywhere. He is an insane man. Oh, yeah, we also took some photos so click on the thumbs (not yet available).

ESPLANADE HOTEL November 7

It was battle of the stupid gross-out punksters as we joined our new friends The Twits for a show that was even messier than anyone anticipated. There was wanton nudity, super-glued falafel balls, a big tahini fight and shofars going where no shofar should ever go. Yep, it was awesome fun. And it was made even cooler by the unplanned addition of amazing German punxters Drei Flaschen who were not only a great band, but made great fodder for all the classic jokes you coulda hoped for.

The second half of Haleluya, where a poor audience member get her faced squished into Bram's tahini-falafel-and-crazy-glued chest. Yuk. (900KB)
